Freshers' Week
We will have a stand at the sports fair on the Wednesday and Thursday where you can come and talk to us. We'll also be signing people up for trial lessons during the fair.
Talks and Pub
The gliding club holds talks most Wednesdays at 8pm. Our talks are initially designed to ease new pilots into learning to fly, moving on to more advanced topics later in the year. See the training page for details.
Usually, pub venues and locations are announced through e-mail, so be sure to subscribe to the mailing list if you'd like to have a pint with us between 9 and 10. If there is no talk on a particular week then we will meet at a random pub.

There is a gliding club mailing list for announcements and general gliding
related stuff. To subscribe email sympa (at) mlist.is.ed.ac.uk with the text "subscribe gliding Firstname Lastname" in the body of the message.
